Ruth M. Dorris, 102, of Clayton, passed away October 14, 2012. She was born June 9, 1910 to the late Robert and Mallie (Ausbrooks) Farmer in Portland, TN. She was a seamstress for Mechanics Laundry for 15 years. She is survived by two sons, Jerry C. (Elizabeth) and Kenneth M. Dorris; a daughter, Dorothy Blackburn; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reglas Dorris, and a daughter-in-law, Annette Dorris. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, October 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial, West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
