Patricia J. Stout, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away October 27, 2012. She was born December 6, 1932 in Friendswood, IN to the late Talmon and Cora Griffith. Her working career included being a legal secretary, Manpower clerk and most recently she retired as a dispatcher for Indiana Gas. She was a member of Center Community Church. Pat was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Griffith and a sister, Mary Jo Winings. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 31, at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday, October 30, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Noble B. Stout; daughters, Donna L. Stout and Carol S. (Wayne) Mehl; sister, Dorothy Williams; grandchildren, Maggie and Abbey Mehl. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
