Dear Pie, Gordon, Chris, Lisa, and family,

We were saddened to hear of Irene's passing. She was always so friendly and kind (especially to my dad). We will keep you and your family in our prayers. May all your happy memories bring you comfort and peace.

Dear Gordon,

I'm truly sorry to hear about your Mom. Family is so dear to us... May God's hope of the resurrection be that pillar of strength to you at this time. A beautiful thought is at John 5:28,29 in God's Word. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Chandra Parker

Even though Irene wasn't feeling well herself, she always stopped by the information desk at Crossroads Church to ask me how my mother, Nina was doing. That was just one of her many great qualities, thinking of others. She had a wonderful sense of humor that made her family laugh. I miss being younger and going to grandma and grandpa's and watching everyone play cards including Irene and Pie. We all had fun times back then. She will be missed but we have comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain. Vicki Jo
