Ella Marie (Medvescek) Freitag, born October 24, 1918 to Romuald and Rose Medvescek. She was married to Henry E. Freitag Sr. who preceded her in death along with 3 sisters and 1 brother. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church and St. Susanna Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held on January 27, at 1:30 pm. Friends may call at the church from 12:30 pm until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1936. Ella was a staple of the Avon community for over 60 years. She owned and operated the Avon Lunch (Brownies) for 23 years and Avon Pizza Palace for 10 years. Survivors include her beloved son Henry Freitag Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Edward Freitag (Tracy), Michael Freitag, Debra Goodpaster (Rusty); 5 great grandchildren, Brittany Goodpaster, Anthony Goodpaster, Matthew Goodpaster (Ashley), John David Loy (Christan) and Tara Mitchell; 4 great great grandchildren, Braylee, Avery, Braden, and Kaden. Also her extended family in Sheboygan, WI. Contributions may be made to the church.
