Harriet C. Carpenter, 85, of Plainfield, passed away March 17, 2011. She was born April 18, 1925 to the late Ralph and Sarah (McNeely) Coster in Joppa, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church. She is survived by a cousin, Ruth Colclesser; and special friends, Jay and Karen Arnold. She was preceeded in death by her husband, James N. Carpenter. Graveside services will be at the Mooresville Cemetery at 5:00 pm on Monday, March 21, 2011.
