Mary Beth Carr

Mary Beth (Ray) Carr, 54, of Plainfield passed away December 18, 2011. She was born in Tell City, IN to Robert and Alice Ray. Mary Beth was a 1975 graduate of Plainfield High School. She was currently working at Indiana University Dental School as a dental assistant. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg, and St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield, where a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 23, at 10:00 am. Visitation will also be at St. Susanna on Thursday, December 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Ray. Survivors include her children, Emily L. (Scott) Garrard, Dylan G. Carr and Hannah B. Carr; mother, Alice Ray; brothers, Steven J. (Patricia), Gregory T. (Theresa), Christopher R. (Lisa), Robert E. and Mark F. (Laura) Ray; sisters, Lisa Ann (Michael) Hovious, Therese Lynn (Jeff) Cokain and Sarah L. (Mike) Rose.
