Loretta Mae Acton

Loretta Mae Acton, 75, of Plainfield, passed away August 16, 2012 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville. She was born February 28, 1937 in Danville to the late Ira and Bertha Taylor. She was a manager for Lindners Ice Cream Shop for 30 years in Indianapolis and the surrounding area. Funeral services will be Monday, August 20, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Sunday, August 19, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne J. Acton and a daughter, Janet Acton. Survivors include 3 sons, Rex, Ray (Linda) and Ross (Sara) Acton; 5 daughters, Jane (Randy) Mayo, Fay (George) Cheeks, Gayle (Wayne) Mayo, Jill (Doug) Albrecht and Kay Acton; sister, Donna Lubore; 32 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
