Ruth L Willis

Ruth Lanora Willis, 93, of Plainfield, passed away August 24, 2012. She was born October 15, 1918 to the late Corie and Mattie (Stewart) Rothrock in Oakland City, IN. She worked in the clerical department of American States Insurance Co. for 8 years retiring in 1974. She was a member of the Lynhurst Order of the Eastern Star. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Jean Western and Rita Ann (Wes) Bennett; two sisters, Mildred Lemmons and Elsie Phillips; 4 granchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Blufred Willis. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Graveside services will be held in the mausoleum chapel at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapols at 10:30 am on Wednesday August 29, 2012
