Doris A. Elmore

Doris A. Elmore, 79, of Plainfield, passed away in her home. She was born August 11, 1933 to the late Oscar and Zona (Phelps) Whitaker in Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Philip A. (Vicki) Elmore; two brothers, Don and Harold Whitaker; three sisters, Alberta Norton, Evelyn Martin, and Pauline Fields; a grandson, Aaron (Rachel) Elmore; and three great grandsons, Silas, Elias and Levi Elmore. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am Friday, September 21, 2012 in the Fairfield Friends Meeting, 10441 E. C.R. 700 S., Camby, IN. A private entombment was held earlier. Contributions may be made to the Fairfield Friends Meeting, of which Doris was a member.
