Harry E. Gilbert

Harry E. Gilbert, 82, of Plainfield, IN. passed away March 15, 2008. He was born March 12, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Ralph and Mae Gilbert. Harry was a lifelong farmer in Hendricks County and school bus driver for 30 years with the Plainfield Community School system. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris E. Gilbert and a brother, Morris J. Gilbert. He was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 18 at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Monday, March 17 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include 3 sons, Michael A., Ronald M. and John C. Gilbert; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
