Linda L. Cummings

Linda L. Cummings, 74, of Plainfield, passed away April 27, 2013. She was born September 11, 1938 in Plainfield, IN. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield, Phi Beta Psi Sorority, and a 30 year volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House. Linda is survived by her husband, Don P. Cummings; two daughters, Dona M. (Rick) Huddleston and Wendy A. Cummings; a son, Dave M. (Andrea) Cummings; her mother, Mae (Hand) Winsted; a brother, Max Winsted; a sister, Janice Weiss; 2 grandchildren, Ian and Elizabeth Cummings; 2 step-grandchildren, Heather Singley and Justin Huddleston; and 5 step-great grandchildren, Braxton, Cayden and Alaina Singley and James and Nathaniel Huddleston. She was preceded in death by her father, James Winsted. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, May 1 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Entombment, Maple Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
