Marian L. Stockton

Marian L. Stockton, 96, of Plainfield, passed away November 13, 2013 in Manor Care at Prestwick. She was born April 21, 1917 in Danville, IN to the late Edward and Juanita Smith. She was a graduate of Central Normal College in Danville, IN. Marian was a homemaker and taught high school english and physical education. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 20, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, November 19, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Stockton. Survivors include a son, Edward L. (Jodi) Stockton; daughter, Julie S. Hurst; grandchildren, Ryan and Lance Stockton, Leigh Ann and Katie Hurst; 6 great grandchildren.
