Sue E. Humphrey

Sue E. Humphrey, 54, of Plainfield, passed away January 19, 2014. She was born November 15, 1959 in Danville, IL. She worked in accounts payable for Harlan Bakeries in Avon for 6 years. Later she worked as an office assistant for Banning Engineering for 2 years. She is survived by her husband, Myron E. Humphrey; a son, Toby W. (Melissa) Woods; her mother, Elizabeth (Wischer) Comrie; 5 brothers, Jim (Kathy), Pete Jr., Cody (Lisa), Kelly (Marsha), and John (Jane) Comrie; 4 sisters, Linda (James) Ireland, Becky Larson, Mary Beth Waterman, and Theresa Krause; brother-in-law, Dennis (Agnes) Humphrey; mother-in-law, Helen Humphrey; and a granddaughter, Desirae Woods; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter James Comrie, and a step-son, Craig Humphrey. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Friday, January 24, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday, January 23, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
