Jerald (Jerry) Copeland Pike

Jerald (Jerry) Copeland Pike, 78, of Plainfield, passed away July 18, 2014. He was born December 29, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Albert and Bernadine Pike. Jerry was a US Naval Reserve veteran. His memberships include First Baptist Church of Plainfield and Conservation Bird Dog Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jerry retired from General Motors after 35 years as a die maker. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 23, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22, and from 10:00 am on Wednesday. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mary Dee Pike; son, Thomas Pike; daughters, Angela (Chuck) Riggles and Kelly (Chris) Phillips; grandchildren, Ben and Brooke Riggles and Piper and Willow Phillips.
