Marjorie I. Fruits

Marjorie I. Fruits, 91, of Stilesville, passed away September 19, 2014. She was born January 21, 1923 to the late Wayne and Daisy (Fields) Sanders in Indianapolis, IN. She worked as head cashier for Standard Grocery in Plainfield for 20 years retiring in 1960. She was a member of the Stilesville Christian Church and the Cartersburg OES. Marjorie is survived by five sons, Lawrence G. (Sharon), Daniel R. (Paula), Charles E. (Teresa), Kenneth A. (Carmie), and Timothy J. (Yvonne) Fruits; two daughters, Sandra L. (Mike) Stevens and Mickey I. (Chris) Hill; a son-in-law, Mike Owens; 20 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter G. Fruits and a daughter, Charlotte I. Owens. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Monday, September 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.
