Dorothy Earlene Long

Dorothy Earlene Long, 85, of Plainfield, passed away February 3, 2009. She was born August 2, 1923 to the late Earl and Pearlee Prather in Indianapolis, IN. She was a teacher at Mill Creek School Corporation for 10 years retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Plainfield Church of Christ, the Indiana Retired Teachers Assn., and the Decatur Homemakers Club. She is survived by her husband, Jack Long; a son, Mark Long; a daughter, Kathy Long; a granddaughter and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Friday February 6 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday February 5. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
