Jessie E. Griffin

Jessie E. Griffin, 100, of Plainfield, passed away February 13, 2016 in her residence. She was born October 22, 1915 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John B. and Lena Griffin. She was a beauty operator and homemaker. Jessie was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Plainfield Congregation. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 17, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10:00 am until service time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Griffin and children, C.R. Griffin and Nancy Jane Wattson. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her son, John C. Griffin; grandchildren, Mark, Jim and Holly Griffin, Heidi Parker; 5 great grandchildren.
