Robert L. Lee

Robert L. Lee, 84, of Plainfield, passed away June 23, 2009. He was born July 27, 1924 to the late Murtaugh and Lera (Bradbury) Lee in Terre Haute, IN. He was an US Army veteran of WWII. He graduated from Butler University and received his master's degree from Indiana State University. Robert was a teacher, coach and guidance counselor at Ben Davis Jr. High School for 30 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Danville American Legion and VFW Post. He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. (Murin) Lee; and two daughters, Jill Westerfelhaus and Jan Lee. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, June 26, 2009 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
