Alan N. Dickey

Alan N. Dickey, 67, of Plainfield, passed away June 16, 2020.  He was born November 18, 1952 to the late Everett and Alice “Betty” (Long) Dickey in Indianapolis, IN.  He was a mechanic for Allison’s Transmission for 10 years retiring in 1992.  He was a member of the Mooresville Church of Christ.  Alan is survived by his wife, Terri L. (Taylor) Dickey; a son, Brad (Crystal) Dickey; a daughter, Sarah E. (Rex) Guyer; four brothers, Bob (Charlotte), John (Linda), Bill, and Tim (Terri) Dickey; three sisters, Carol Romens, Ann Salerno and Susan Pasch; and 5 grandchildren, Alana, Maggie, Wyatt and Naarah Dickey, and Annabelle Guyer.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 24 in the funeral home.  During this period of social distancing, seating will be limited on the day of the service.  We therefore ask that only relatives and close members to the family be in attendance for the service.  Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
