Alice P. Hand

Alice P. Hand, 94, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2024.  She was born on October 24, 1929 in Clayton, IN to the late Verlie and Ethel Bryant.  Alice was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Hand and a sister, Betty Genaro.  Alice enjoyed watching game shows on TV, cooking, playing games and crosswords on her iPad.  She loved spending time with her family.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00 am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her daughter, Dottie (Steve Treibel) Hobbs; son, Mark (Eve) Hand; sister, Ruby Richard; grandchildren, Rachel (Brian) Nysewander-Pace, Rebecca (Scot) Nysewander-McFarland, Josh (Megan) Hand, Matt (Chanda) Hand and Evan (Christy) Hobbs; 13 great grandchildren.
