Alma "Jane" Deaton

Alma "Jane" Deaton, 74, of Plainfield, passed away on November 11, 2021.  She was born on September 4, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Victor and Dora McNabb.  Jane worked for Wal-Mart for 10 years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a dedicated homemaker.  Jane enjoyed gambling, sewing and quilting in her free time.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family whenever she could.  Funeral services will be on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Deaton; sons, Mark (Lora) and Larry Jr. (Leann) Deaton; daughters, Tracy (Wes) Livingston, Tricia (Jon) Poindexter and Kathy Furey; brother, Victor McNabb; sisters, Ruth Baskerville and Kathy Jaynes; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
