Anita K. Ilich

Anita K. Ilich, 72, of Plainfield, passed away April 1, 2019. She was born November 14, 1946 to the late William and Phyllis (Nigh) James in Shelbyville, IN. She was a 1965 graduate of Shelbyville High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Indiana University in 1969.  She worked at Hendricks Regional Heath in a variety of positions for 38 years retiring in 2011. Anita is survived by a daughter, Shannon M. (Scott) Fields; and two grandchildren, Conner and Mattison Fields. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Ilich; two brothers, Larry and Richard James; and a sister Elaine James. There will be a private family memorial service. Donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
