Ann J. Morse

Ann J. Morse, 78, of Plainfield, passed away February 20, 2020.  She was born February 9, 1942 to the late John W. and Shirley A. (Siegel) Morton in Robinson, IL.  She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church.  She began her career as an English teacher at Paris High School in Paris, IL in 1964.  She retired from Monrovia High School as a guidance counselor in 2004.  Ann is survived by son, John B. (Brianna) Morse; a sister, Alice Morton; and a grandson, John Wyatt Morse.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St Susanna Catholic Church, 1210 E. Main St., Plainfield on Friday February 28, 2020, at 10:00 am, with calling there one hour prior to services.  Inurnment will be in Marshall (IL) Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank or food bank/charity of choice.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
