Anne McGeney-Maher

Anne McGeney-Maher, 58, formerly of New York, passed away on June 6, 2020.  She was born on May 4, 1962 in Rockville Centre, NY to James A. and Pat McGeney.  She was a teacher for Uniondale Union Free School District for 25 years retiring in 2017.  Anne was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church.  She enjoyed playing the flute, doing puzzles, coloring and speaking Spanish.  Anne was preceded in death by her father, James A. McGeney; 5 aunts and 4 uncles.  A Celebration Of Life and inurnment will be private.  Survivors include her mother, Pat McGeney; son, Brian Maher; daughter, Kelly Maher; brother, James (Dana) McGeney; sister, Maribryan (Ludwik Stevens) McGeney; uncle, Harvey Fisher; nieces and nephews, Corey, Travis, Joseph, Emily, Olivia, Hunter, Alec and Isabel; many cousins.
