Anne E. Watson

Anne E. Watson, 93, of Plainfield, passed away on August 6, 2023 surrounded by loving family members.  She was born on April 19, 1930 in Maywood, IN to the late James and Ethel Elliott.  Anne was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother.  She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church.  Anne enjoyed ceramics, gardening, bird watching and was an avid Tiger Woods fan.  She loved spending time with her family as often as she could.  Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles "Chuck" Watson Sr.; brothers, James, Joseph and Charles Elliott; sister, Rita Reeves; great grandchildren, Logan and Kaylin Watson.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:00 am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her sons, Charles "Chuck" (Elizabeth) Watson Jr. and Larry (Leah) Watson; daughter, Annamarie Dyer; sisters, Melba Covey and Frances Codalata; grandchildren, Travis Watson and Krysta Cooper; great grandchildren, Cayden and Brookley Watson, Kayla Cooper.
