Audrey "Chris" Bray

Audrey "Chris" Bray, 82, of Franklin, passed away on April 17, 2024 surrounded by loving family members.  She was born on July 19, 1941 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Willie and Margaret VanMeter.  Audrey worked in customer service and retired from Eli Lilly in 1992.  She belonged to the Republican National Committee and the Heritage Foundation.  Audrey enjoyed singing in the choir at church, reading and watching NASCAR in her free time.  She loved spending time with her family.  Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Bray.  Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 12:00 pm (noon) until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.  Survivors include her children, Nathan Bray, Mark (Mavis) Bray and Micheal (Randy) Andry; brother, Michael VanMeter; sister, Beverly Brewington; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
