Banner "Gene" Robinette

Banner "Gene" Robinette, 84, of Clayton, passed away on June 24, 2022 surrounded by loving family members.  He was born on May 10, 1938 in Dante, VA to the late Henry and Ada Robinette.  Gene was a truck driver for 30 years with Local P & D Teamsters Union.  He was a member of Christ Church in Plainfield.  Gene enjoyed singing gospel music with his wife and playing blue grass music on his guitar.  He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Gene was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Survivors include his loving wife, Pat Robinette; children, Gary (Tresa) Robinette, Rodger Robinette, Cindy Jones, Troy Robinette and Vanessa Dolden; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren with one on the way!  In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Christ Church (550 St. Luke Drive, Plainfield, IN 46168).
