Barbara F. Cooper

Barbara F. Cooper, 79, of Clayton, passed away February 12, 2019. She was born April 12, 1939 to the late Albert and Twila (Walton) Mantooth. She was a 1957 graduate of Clayton High School. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Belleville United Methodist Church. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Susan A. Poland and Denise K. Cottongim; a brother, Ralph (Linda) Mantooth; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband, David Cooper and a brother, Gaylord Mantooth.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, February 15 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.
