Bettie S. Acton

Bettie S. Acton, 80, of Plainfield, passed away January 26, 2019. She was born November 17, 1938 in Pekin, IL. She was a secretary in the records department at Indiana Boys School for 22 years retiring in 2000. She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Acton; a son, Scott M. Acton; three daughters, Leigh A. (Ray) Shelton, Kelly S. Spradling, and Jody L. Cohen; a brother, Rusty Janassen; and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Jane and Don Turner. Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.
