Bettie S. Dyer

Bettie S. Dyer, 80, of Plainfield, passed away at home on July 25, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1945 in Harriman, Tennessee to the late George Testement and Pearl (Collins) Testement. Bettie worked alongside her husband, Gary Dyer, as co-owner of Jack's Pizza for over 35 years. She enjoyed browsing Facebook and shopping online. Bettie is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dyer; son, Rick Wade; brothers, George Testement Jr., James Testement; sister, Shirley McGhee. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m., where family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow to Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her sons, Leland Scott Wade, Jeff (Sherry) Wade and Troy (Amy Polson) Wade; brother, Tommy Testement; sister, Peggy Allen; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
