Betty J. Donica

Betty J. Donica, 86, of Naples, Fl, formerly of Plainfield, IN passed away on February 16, 2019.  She was born in Brownsburg, IN on May 2, 1932 to the late Frank and Stella Dickey.  Betty worked on a farm in her younger years.  She was a bank teller for Citizens Bank in Plainfield for 10 years.  Betty enjoyed helping people through Meals on Wheels.  She was a member of Plainfield Plus.  Betty was a devoted member of the Plainfield Church of Christ.  She loved walking outdoors and gardening.  In the winter months she enjoyed quilting and sewing.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mearle Donica Sr.  Betty's second husband, Bill Andrews, was a dear friend from the Plainfield Church of Christ who also preceded her in death.  A Celebration Of Life will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:00 am until time of service.  Inurnment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her son, Mearle Jr. (Christine) Donica; daughter, Ilene (Michael) Horn; granddaughter, Michelle (Brandon) Bevil; grandson, Michael Jr. (Alicia Taylor) Horn; great grandson, Lucas Bevil; great granddaughter, Janelle Bevil.
