Bill Walton

Bill H. Walton, 93, of Avon, passed away on November 19, 2021.  He was born on July 17, 1928 in Hendricks County to the late Paul and Mary Jane Walton.  Bill was a 1947 graduate of Avon High School.  He was an United States Air Force veteran during the Korean War.  Bill was the administrative V.P. for Indiana Lumberman's Mutual Insurance Company from 1947 to 1990.  He was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church.  Bill belonged to the Plainfield F & AM #653 since 1950.  He was a member of the Indianapolis American Legion #100 and the Scottsdale, AZ American Legion #44.  Bill belonged to the Indianapolis Scottish Rite since 1950.  He loved raising and showing horses most of his life.  That resulted in him moving to Scottsdale, AZ in 1998.  Bil became a member of the Arizona Arabian Horse Association where he was the director for 3 years.  He also enjoyed landscaping in his free time.  Bil was preceded in death by his sisters, Marjorie Blair and Imogene Clark.  Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 am in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his nephews, Robert "Butch" Clark and Paul "Mace" Clark; niece, Linda Jean Clark.
