Billy Gene Campbell Jr.

Billy Gene Campbell Jr., 73, of Indianapolis, passed away July 4, 2023.  He was born March 22, 1950 to the late Billy Gene Sr. and Martha (Norris) Campbell in Washington, IN.  Billy worked at G.M. Truck & Bus Plant as a metal finisher for 22 years retiring in 1990.  He was a member of the UAW.  Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Campbell.  He is survived by his children, Leslie (Jerry) Presley, Billy Gene Campbell III, Michael A. (Heather) Campbell, David T. (Lisa) Campbell and Sarah Campbell; brother, Gary (Linda) Campbell; step mother, Clara Campbell; half brothers, Joe, Bobby Campbell and Joey Branan; half sisters, Linda and Carolyn Branan; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Memorial services will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 4:00 pm until service time at 6:00 pm.
