Bonnie R. Bell

Bonnie R. Bell, 88, of Greenwood, peacefully passed away on January 16, 2024. She was born on July 20, 1935 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Harry D. Benge and Mabel (Williams) Benge. Bonnie was a member of Plainfield United Methodist Church for many years. She was President of the Demaree Resident Council from 2018-2020, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Bonnie enjoyed bowling, golf, playing Euchre and hosting large family dinners weekly. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James A. Bell; daughter, Beth Ann Grimes; and grandchild, Taylor Bell. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, Indiana. Survivors include her sons, Rick (Debbie) Bell and James D. Bell; daughter, Sherie (Doug) Howard; sister, Janet Fern; 8 grandchildren, Wes, Sharon, Michael, Doug Jr., Emily (Jason), Jenni, Brooke and Brandon; 9 great grandchildren, Jase, Hensley, Kaitlyn, Olivia, Delanie, Patrick, Gabe, Noah and Bella.
