Bonnie Elmore

Bonnie Elmore, 78, of Plainfield, passed away on August 27, 2020.  She was born on November 19, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late James and Leona Cook.  Bonnie received her Bachelors degree from Indiana State University and Masters degree from Butler University.  She taught at Bridgeport, Avon and Plainfield Schools for over 25 years.  Bonnie belonged to the Plainfield United Methodist Church and the Hendricks County Retired Teachers Association.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ted Elmore.  Memorial services will be Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 4:00 pm in the Plainfield United Methodist Church (600 Simmons Street, Plainfield, IN 46168) where friends may visit from 3:00 pm until service time.  Please practice social distancing and wear a mask as requested by the church.  Survivors include her children, Mark (Eva) Elmore; daughter, Lydia Elmore; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Plainfield United Methodist Church.
