Bonnie S. Gillespie

Bonnie S. Gillespie, 76, of Plainfield, passed away December 21, 2024.  She was born December 9, 1948 to the late Harold and Juanita (Hudson) Baker in Indianapolis, IN.  She was a homemaker.  She was active in many card clubs and loved to bowl.  But her greatest love was for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Bonnie is survived by a son, Michael A. (Lori) Gillespie Jr.; two daughters, April L. (Steven) Juengel, and Ginger K. (Doug) Hathaway; three sisters, Donna Stewart, Chris Linhart, and Sharon Baker; 6 grandchildren, Amanda (Nick) Parr, Bree (Tyler) Sparks, John (Tayrn) Hathaway, Brandon (Brittany) Gillespie, Zachary Juengel and Emma Juengel; and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Gillespie Sr.  Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 26, 2024 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
