Carroll O. Lemonds

Carroll O. Lemonds, 85, of Plainfield, passed away November 5, 2017. He was born December 5, 1931 to the late Willie Otis and Goldia May (Sutton) Lemonds in Kennett, MO. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a radar technician for the FAA for 34 years retiring in 1987. After his retirement he worked as a technician for Ratheon for 10 years retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church. Carroll is survived by two sons, Scott (Marian Jo) and David (Phoebe) Lemonds; a daughter, Susan L. Jaeger; a brother, Thomas Lemonds; a sister, Kathleen Riggs; 7 grandchilden and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Beth Lemonds. Memorial services will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.
