Charles Clark

Charles Clark, 94, of Plainfield, passed away June 3, 2017.  He was born in Putnam County, IN on January 1, 1923 to the late Glen and Elizabeth (Hurst) Clark.  Charles served in WWII for the United States Navy and was an engineer on a naval destroyer.  He was the owner of a livestock exchange company for 44 years and retired in 1986.  Charles was a 50 year member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield and was a past deacon and treasurer for the church.  He was preceded in death by three of his brothers, Burl, Ivan and Eugene Clark; four sisters, Evalene Frank, Lucille Albin, Madge Smith and Geraldine Runion.  Funeral services will be Friday, June 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Plainfield (1012 Stafford Rd, Plainfield, IN 46168) where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his wife, Mandy Young-Clark; step-sons, Michael (Julie) Young and Mark (Belinda) Young; brother, Wendell Clark; step-grandson, Justin Young.
