Cynthia “Cindy” Evans, 65, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.
Born on December 18, 1960, in Plainfield, Indiana, Cindy was the beloved daughter of the late Max and Beverly Newlin. She lived a life defined by compassion, kindness, and quiet strength, touching countless lives through her caring nature and generous heart.
Cindy found her calling in caring for children and devoted many years to serving families through the Private Duty Nursing Unit at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Her gentle presence brought comfort and reassurance to those she cared for, and her work reflected the deep love she carried for others.
She found joy in life’s simple blessings. A devoted tea lover, Cindy delighted in collecting teapots and mugs, each one a small treasure. She loved traveling, especially to the beach, where she found peace in the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. Saturday mornings often found her relaxing with HGTV, wrapped in one of her favorite hooded sweatshirts. She was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments spent with her Bible, reflecting in the stillness of the morning light.
Above all, Cindy’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and held a special place in her heart for her beloved pets. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Bradley Newlin.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Randy Evans; her sister, Susan (Doug) Huber; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory and carry her love with them always.
