Connie A. Christian

Connie A. Christian, 71, of Greencastle, IN, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2017, at Simon Cancer Center University Hospital Indianapolis, IN, surrounded by her family. She was born September 20, 1946, to the late Wendell and Millicent (Jane) Newlin of Avon, IN. She retired in 2012. Connie is survived by her brother Gary (Becky) Newlin and sister Sonja (Pete) Fields; four loving daughters, Debbie (Roger) Block, Kathy (Bob) Whitaker, Julie (Brian) Wagoner, and Patty Blakley; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, along with countless friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Christian. They shared 52 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by sister Judy Bowman. Connie will always be remembered for having the most generous and kind heart. Someone we all should aspire to be like. Her unwavering love for her husband was immeasurable. The love she had for her family and anyone she came into contact with, will never be forgotten. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Plainfield, IN. Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, IN.
