Dale E. Murphy

Dale E. Murphy, 71, of Plainfield, passed away July 23, 2021.  He was born October 6, 1949 to the late Jodie and Adelle (Young) Murphy in Indianapolis, IN.  He was an US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He worked 20 years at Uniroyal, Indianapolis, and later worked in maintenance at the City-County Building for 28 years retiring in 2014.  Dale is survived by a son, Robert A. (Stacy Dayton) Murphy; a daughter, Deanna L. (Lonney) O’Connor; a brother, Jackie (Ellen) Murphy; a sister, Debra Groves; 5 grandchildren, Timmy (Katie) O’Connor, Bradley O’Connor, Jonhas Murphy, Jayda Murphy, and Neva Murphy; and a great grandson, Wyatt O’Connor.  A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 50 Omega Lane Plainfield, IN.    Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
