Darlene Sue Newby

Darlene Sue Newby, 78, of Clayton, passed away on October 13, 2022 surrounded by loving family members.  She was born on March 19, 1944 in Indianapolis.  Darlene was a dedicated nurse at various places over the years.  She was a member at the Grace Baptist Church in Coatesville.  Darlene enjoyed making jewelry and was known as a professional shopper.  She loved the holidays, especially Christmas.  Spending time with her family was her passion.  Darlene had a dog that she was very close to as well.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Kizzee and Louise Ray.  Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 1:30 pm in the Grace Baptist Church (8246 IN-75, Coatesville, IN 46121) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:30 pm.  Burial will follow in Amo Cemetery.  Survivors include her loving husband, Allan Newby; sons, Mike Smith, Gary (Suzanne) Smith and Mike (Jill) Newby; daughter, Lisa Byers; sister, Nancy Logsdon; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
