Della Catherine Barker

Della Catherine Barker, 95, of Avon, passed away on October 8, 2018.  She was born on October 31, 1922 in Bridgeport, IN to the late Cash and Ivalue (Hadley) Jessup.  Catherine was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother.  She was a member of the Fairfield Friends Meeting.  Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, John Barker; brothers, John and Charles Jessup and a sister, Dorothy Morris.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm in the funeral home.  Funeral services will be Friday, October 12, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her daughter, Beverly (Loma) Barker-Garman; son, Charles A. (Natalie) Barker; grandchildren, Catherine (Nichole) and Samuel Barker and a great grandchild, Greyson Barker.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Fairfield Friends Meeting (10441 E. CR 700 S, Camby, IN 46113).
