Diana Deaton

Diana Deaton, 77, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026.  She was born on May 22, 1949 in Linton, IN to the late Harold and Mavis Cook.  Diana had various jobs over the years.  She was a dedicated homemaker to her husband and children.  Diana enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts, IU basketball and Notre Dame football in her free time.  She loved spending time with her family.  Diana was preceded in death by her sister, Becky Wilkins; daughter in law, Nicole Deaton.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Survivors include her daughter, Angie Lott; sons, Jason (Tawnee) and Wade Deaton;  brother, Leonard (Ebbie) Cook; grandchildren, Kayla, Whitnee, Johnathon, Jake and Allison; great grandchildren, Carter, Cai, Cade and Bennett.
