October 11, 1941 — December 8, 2022

Diana G. Smith, 81, of Mooresville, formerly of Flint, MI, passed away on December 8, 2022 surrounded by loving family members.  She was born on October 11, 1941 in Highland Park, MI to the late Jeremiah and Ruth Aldred.  Diana worked for Social Security for over 30 years before retiring.  She was a faithful member of the Plainfield Christian Church, Rock Steady Boxing and a card club.  Diana enjoyed singing, traveling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, bowling, dancing and laughing.  She made up quirky songs all the time.  Diana liked cows and snowmen.  She would donate to various charities on a regular basis.  Diana enjoyed decorating for all the different holidays.  She loved spending time with her family as often as she could.  Diana was preceded in death by her son, Tony Badour; brothers, Sandy Bill Aldred and Jere David; sister, Bethany Lowry; grandchild, Cade; great grandchild, Lila Renee`.  A Celebration Of Life will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, IN 46168) where friends may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm.  Survivors include her loving husband, Dan Smith; daughters, Michelle Cline, Cindi (Ted) Chappell-Novak, Niki Badour; step-son, Bob (Stacie) Smith; step-daughters, Susan Johnson and Cindy (Chris) Ragonese; grandchildren, Kera, Matt (Rachel), Kristin (Michael), Trevor, Samantha (Kade), Travis, Mackenzie (Ben), Tyler, Bailey, Garrett, Anna, Rebekah, Tyler and Cash; great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Aliana, Kennedy, Jordyn and Mady.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Missions at the Plainfield Christian Church or your favorite charity of choice.
