Doris Ferguson

Doris Ferguson, 74, of Plainfield, passed away on October 18, 2021.  She was born on November 22, 1946 in Vincennes, IN to the late Ralph Smith and Florence Schultz.  Doris was an United States Army veteran.  She worked as a secretary for 10 years at Navi Star.  Doris was a member of Christ Church in Plainfield.  She enjoyed reading, walking her dog and going to church.  Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ferguson.  A Celebration Of Life will be held next Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Christ Church (550 St. Luke Drive, Plainfield, IN 46168) where friends may visit from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.  Survivors include her sons, Vincent and J. Scott Wilkes; sister, Evelyn Catt; brothers, Dale and Phillip "Butch" Smith.  Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
