Doris Rosa (Poe) Norris

Doris Rosa (Poe) Norris, 85, of Plainfield, passed away on October 10, 2020 surrounded by loving family members.  She was born on September 16, 1935 in Monticello, KY to the late Charles and Lula (Upchurch) Poe.  Doris was a loving mother and dedicated homemaker.  She was a faithful servant of God.  Doris enjoyed looking at flowers, gardening and canning food in her spare time.  She loved spending time with her family.  Doris was preceded in death by her brothers; Haskel, Estel, Glen and Eldred Poe; sisters, Anna and Deva Poe.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.  Funeral services and burial will be private.  Survivors include her loving husband, Billy Norris; son, Jeff Norris; daughter, Jethonia "Tonna" (David) Mayes; grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Jeremy and Jacob; 5 great grandchildren and several extended loving family members.
