Dwan Cole

Virgie "Dwan" Cole, 86, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026.  She was born on November 2, 1939 in Byrdstown, TN to the late Dennis and Flossie Crockett.  Dwan was a dedicated homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting and cooking in her free time.  Dwan loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  She belonged to the Plainfield Congregation Of Jehovah's Witness.  Dwan was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Cole; brother, David Crockett; sisters, Ruby Storie, Nola Robinson and Katherine Crockett.  Funeral services will be on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 12:00 pm until the time of services at 2:00 pm.  Survivors include her sons, John (Donna) and Joel (Jackie) Cole; brother, James Crockett; sisters, Connie Storie and Greta Marrow; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
