Echo M. Echerd

Echo M. Echerd, 70, of Plainfield, passed away on April 16, 2024. She was born on February 6, 1954 in Fort Eustis, Virginia. Echo honorably served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. She worked as a surgical technician while in the military and later in various hospitals after being honorably discharged. She also worked as a social worker in Tennessee for 10 years. Echo became the most beloved wife when she married Michael on April 6, 1971. She loved quilting, traveling and spending quality time with her friends, family and her grandchildren. Echo is preceded in death by her father, Rolando DeCastro and two of her four siblings.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 at Cornerstone Christian Church (8930-IN 267 Brownsburg, IN 46112) at 6:00pm. Friends may visit from 4:00pm until time of service. Survivors include her loving husband, Micheal E. Echerd; son, Jeremy (Melissa) Echerd; and four grandchildren, Joshua, Elise, William and Isaiah.
