Eugene Partin

Eugene Partin, 77, of Plainfield, passed away surrounded by loving family members on January 19, 2020.  He was born on February 20, 1942 in White Oak, TN to the late Adron and Mary Partin.  Eugene was a machinist for 32 years retiring in 1998 from Allison Transmission.  He enjoyed turkey shoots, hunting and camping in his free time.  Eugene was an avid gun collector and trader.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Partin; several brothers and sisters.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 4:00 pm until time of service.  Survivors include his children, Adam (Janet) Partin, Gina Gary, Jeff (Norma) Wallace, Deronda (Jerry) Scott, Kitrina McFarland, Nick (Darla) Partin, Michael Wallace, Melinda (Steve) Neeley, Angela Johnson, Amanda (Bill) O'Conner and Craig Wallace; brothers, Granville and Carl Partin; sisters, Sandra Chapman, Beatrice Thompson and Mary Davis; 32 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren.
